Park Animals
The Park animals may not be an attraction, but they are definitely something you'll want to see on your next visit. We have two chickens that will usually greet you at the door or find you throughout the park - usually when you are holding food. It is important to become friends with these two chickens, Laurel and Hardy, because they choose our contest winners. Other than their judging capabilities, they take care of our bug and tick population while scarring away any potential snakes. Park goers have definitely noticed a lack of tick population since Laurel and Hardy have been introduced to the park.
During the summer we bring out Alice, our female paint turtle. She lives in a small beneficial habitat right off of Shipwreck, right next to the small sandbox.
